Governance is important to ZARAN. We have designed our decision-making and reporting structures to provide control and accountability. The board members have a duty of policy guidance and oversight over the activities of ZARAN. They exercise this function through regular Board meetings, reports and through clear communication with management.
ZARAN is accountable to many different organisations and individuals. It is accountable to people living with HIV and AIDs, to Zambians in general, to its donors and its staff among others. Its governance arrangements have been designed to satisfy the needs of all these relationships.
